The story behind the business

One afternoon, my brother and I were walking through a local neighbourhood when we spotted a homeowner standing by his open garage. From the street it looked like a beautiful epoxy floor — but up close, the edges were already bubbling and peeling.

We got talking, and what should've been an exciting upgrade had turned into months of frustration: missed appointments, unreturned calls, excuses, and a contractor who vanished the moment the cheque cleared.

After more than a decade in the home-services industry across Canada and the US, we'd heard that exact story far too often. Prices kept climbing while basic workmanship and communication slid the other way. Too many people had simply accepted that hiring a contractor means bracing for delays, surprise costs and disappointing results.

We knew it didn't have to be that way. So we started Wish Coatings — not just to install flawless floors, but to be the kind of company we'd want to hire for our own homes.
