How much does it cost to epoxy a 2-car garage in Vancouver?
A standard 2-car garage floor in Greater Vancouver usually runs $4,000–$6,500, depending on concrete condition and finish.

Are there hidden concrete preparation fees?
No hidden fees. Diamond grinding, crack repair, edging and HEPA dust cleaning are all included in your upfront quote.
We inspect your concrete on the first visit and build every bit of prep into the price. The number on your quote is the number on your invoice.
Is a deposit required to book?
Yes — a 50% deposit holds your install date. The rest is due only after the job's done and you've done your final walkthrough.
You shouldn't pay in full until you've stood on your new floor and you're happy with it.
What forms of payment do you accept?
Visa, Mastercard, cash and cheque, through a secure online customer portal.
Once you're scheduled, you'll get a link to your private portal where you can review your invoice and pay your deposit and balance from home.
Do you price by the square foot?
We calculate internally by the square foot, but your official quote is one flat, all-inclusive total.
No confusing ranges on your contract. Our flat rate is $10/sq ft, with everything included.
Process, Scheduling & Dust
How long does it take to install a garage floor?
Most garages take about 8 hours of work split across 2 days, with foot traffic the next morning and vehicles back in 24–48 hours.
Our commercial-grade products cure fast, so you're back to normal quickly after we pack up.
Can you install in the winter?
Yes. We install year-round in the Lower Mainland using winter-cure formulas that harden properly in the cold.
No need to wait for summer — our products bond and cure reliably in cold temperatures, so winter is a great time to book without the summer wait.
Do I need to empty my garage first?
Yes — the slab needs to be completely clear so we can grind and coat it safely.
We need full access wall to wall. If moving heavy items or finding storage is a hassle, tell us on the site visit and we'll help you figure it out.
How messy is the grinding? Will there be dust?
No process is 100% dust-free, but our grinders hook straight into HEPA extractors that capture the vast majority of dust right at the source.
We take your home's air quality seriously and vacuum up concrete dust as we cut. A little settling dust can happen, but it's far cleaner than standard grinding.
Material, Durability & Care
Will my floor peel or lift under hot tires?
Our grinding opens the concrete so the coating fuses into the slab instead of sitting on top — that's what prevents the hot-tire peeling you see on cheap floors.
Unlike big-box DIY kits that sit like paint on sealed concrete, our coating becomes part of the floor. We back it against peeling and delamination with our 15-year workmanship and manufacturer warranty for normal residential use.
Will an epoxy floor turn yellow in the sun?
No. Our polyaspartic topcoat is UV-stable, so your floor resists fading and ambering.
Bare epoxy can discolour in sunlight. Our polyaspartic shield is the final layer, so the floor holds its colour even in direct Lower Mainland sun.
Are epoxy floors slippery when wet?
No — our full-flake system adds built-in grip.
The flake texture breaks up standing water so the surface stays slip-resistant, wet or dry.
What's the difference between epoxy and polyaspartic?
Epoxy is the base coat that bonds deep into the concrete; polyaspartic is the hard, UV-stable topcoat that resists scratches and sun.
You don't have to choose — we combine both into one hybrid system, so you get deep adhesion underneath and tough, sun-proof protection on top.
How do I clean and maintain a flake floor?
Cleaning is easy — the surface is sealed, so oil, salt and chemicals wipe right up without staining, and you can hose it out.
Nothing soaks in, so you never scrub deep stains. A dust mop for daily debris or a quick rinse with the hose keeps it looking new. (See the Wish Process page for the full system.)
Coverage, Damage & Warranty
Can you coat cracked or damaged concrete?
Yes. We repair cracks, pits and spalling with high-strength fillers and grind them flush before coating.
You don't need a perfect slab. Our prep restores damaged areas so the finished floor is seamless and solid.

Do you coat basements, patios or shops too?
Yes. We specialize in garages, but our coatings are great for basements, patios, workshops and commercial slabs.
Any interior or exterior concrete slab can take our hybrid system. Just mention your space when you request your free site visit and we’ll measure and quote it exactly.
What does the Wish Coatings warranty cover?
Your floor is backed by a 15-year workmanship warranty and a 15-year manufacturer warranty against peeling.
