Garage Floor Flake Coating in Metro Vancouver
The decorative, full-broadcast vinyl flake finish that hides imperfections, adds grip, and turns your garage into a showroom.
A garage floor flake coating is the decorative, textured finish most homeowners picture when they imagine a showroom garage floor. Coloured vinyl flakes are broadcast into the coating to hide imperfections, add grip, and give the floor its signature finished-room look. Wish Coatings installs 100% full-broadcast flake floors across Metro Vancouver and the Fraser Valley.
What is a flake garage floor?
Flake (sometimes called "chip" or "broadcast") floors are built by scattering vinyl-acrylic flakes across the epoxy base, then sealing everything under a clear polyaspartic top coat. "Full broadcast" means we cover the entire surface with flake — not a light scatter — so you get consistent colour, maximum texture and no thin spots. It's the most popular residential garage finish for good reason: it looks sharp and it hides everyday dust, grit and light tire residue.

Frequently asked questions
What is a full-broadcast flake floor?
It's a floor where coloured vinyl flakes are scattered across the entire surface of the epoxy base — not just lightly sprinkled — then sealed under a clear polyaspartic top coat. Full coverage gives consistent colour, better texture and no thin spots.
Are flake floors slippery?
No — the flake actually adds texture and grip, making a flake floor less slippery than smooth sealed concrete. For garages that see a lot of water, we can add extra traction to the top coat.
What flake colours do you offer?
Our six most popular blends are Medium Grey/White, Charcoal/Granite, Tan/Beige, Domino/Tuxedo, Blue Blends, and Brown/Autumn. We bring physical samples to your free on-site estimate so you can choose in your own space.
Do flake floors hide dirt and tire marks?
Yes. Multi-tone flake blends are excellent at camouflaging dust, grit and light tire residue between cleanings, which is a big part of why they're the most popular residential garage finish.
